ENOC is seeking a highly skilled Terminal Operator
ENOC is seeking a highly skilled Terminal Operator for a position in DUBAI, AE. The Terminal Operator will be responsible for carrying out all terminal activities related to the receipt, storage, blending, heater operation, quality control, and delivery of product during the shift. This includes product movement operations from the refinery via pipeline or tanker and reporting to the Shift Supervisor for general guidance.
Responsibilities include:
- Product receipt operations, including guiding vessel berthing, witnessing sampling and gauging of ship's tanks, operating the hydraulic loading arm, connecting the loading arm, and communicating with the terminal/ship for the commencement of discharge.
- Product storage operations, including water draining, gauging, sampling of terminal tanks after receipt, transfer, and blending.
- Product value addition/blending, including Stadis addition in Jet A1 tanks, pigging or flushing of product pipelines, and assisting/independently cross-checking blending components ratio for in-house blending.
- Product loading/delivery, including tanker, barge, pipeline, and tank truck.
- Tanker handling, including berthing, collecting and recording of relevant timings in the tanker log, witnessing ullaging, sampling, and calculation, connecting the loading arm or hoses, and performing periodic checks on tankers under operation.
- Ensuring all shift activities are performed safely as per EIL/HTL operating and safety procedures, ENOC/HTL EHS Policy and guidelines, and in compliance with all applicable local regulations.
- Maintaining a high level of emergency preparedness and following mock drills as required.
- Carrying out task as a Incipient-Responder, promoting a safety culture, and monitoring that "Permit to Work" system is strictly enforced in the shift.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, with knowledge of safety and quality, and the ability to manage a team effectively. Familiarity with IMS and knowledge of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 is also desired.
