Position: Shift Operator
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor power generation equipment, including turbines, generators, and associated control systems.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Monitor and record operational parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and voltage, and take appropriate action in case of deviations.
- Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to address any technical issues and implement preventive maintenance measures.
- Respond promptly to equipment alarms, emergencies, and power outages, following established protocols and procedures.
- Maintain accurate shift logs, records, and reports for operational and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with fellow operators and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and efficient power generation.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience in operating and maintaining power generation equipment is preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of power generation principles.
- Familiarity with control systems, instrumentation, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make quick decisions under pressure.
