Machinery Maintenance and Troubleshooting Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Machinery Maintenance and Troubleshooting Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of all rotating and reciprocating machines at our ammonia, urea, and utility plants, and ensuring the machines are reliable for operation through preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate direction and instructions to anyone violating safe and environmentally-friendly work practices in their area.
• Offer technical guidance to craftsmen for their area's work.
• Suggest modifications, material changes, new techniques, new procedures, or other improvements to the Unit Manager Machinery to reduce repetitive repairs.
• Work with the Production Department to ensure that job availability aligns with the maintenance work schedule.
• Recomend relevant spare parts to be stocked and the maximum/minimum levels to be maintained to the Incharge Machinery.
• Submit a maintenance activity summary to the Incharge Machinery at the end of the month for the current month.
• Review the shutdown list prepared by the Planning and Scheduling Engineer, and prioritize jobs based on shutdown type, time requirements, and Production Department needs.
• Inspect the relevant spare parts received as requested by Incharge warehouse.
• Draft EMS and Safety Plan.
• Investigate and analyze the root causes of any abnormal operations, incidents/accidents in their area.
• Comunicate HSE Policy, procedures, applicable regulatory requirements, and the significance of PPEs/MSDS to employees at all levels.
• Ensure all practicable engineering controls related to/on machinery mitigate occupational risks and environmental impact.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Sound knowledge of rotating and stationary machines/equipment and maintenance.
• Sound knowledge of inspection techniques.
• Thorough understanding of the company's quality policy and quality standards.
• Working knowledge of Pumps, Turbines, Compressors, Blowers, bearings, belts, gearboxes, vibrations, mechanical seals, governing system, machine alignments, couplings, oil seals, lube & seal oils, fluid drivers, centrifuge of oil, grease, etc.
• Basic knowledge of process engineering and process design.
• Excellent communication, analytical, administrative, problem-solving, decision-making, team management, negotiation, and project management skills.,

Qualification & Experience:,

• At least 5-7 years of experience in the Fertilizers industry.
• Good understanding of the risks and process hazards of the Fertilizers industry.
• Good knowledge of plant machinery and process....
