As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment in the oil and gas sector.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage a team of mechanical technicians and ensure that all maintenance work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Qualifications
The successful candidate for this position will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with at least 8 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. You should also have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, including rotating equipment, compressors, and turbines.
We are looking for someone with excellent leadership and communication skills, as you will be managing a team of technicians and liaising with other departments, vendors, and stakeholders. You should also have a strong focus on safety and quality, with a proven track record of implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
